During pregnancy, your body starts preparing for breastfeeding. For example, your nipples grow darker, and the areolas gradually increase in size. Your breast ducts develop, and your breasts grow heavier and heavier. Some women find their bras have increased two cup-sizes by the eight-month mark! Be careful to avoid wearing bras that are too constricting. Poorly fitting bras may impede blood circulation and hinder development.
